At present, Europe and the United States widely used open ventilation H-class dry-type transformer, is on the basis of the immersion of the characteristics of the winding structure and the use of Nomex paper after the development of the new H-class dry change, due to the high price, in China has not been promoted.
At present, the dry-type distribution transformer with the largest short-circuit test capacity in China is 2500kVA and 10/0.4kV. The dry-type power transformer with the largest short-circuit test capacity is 16000kVA and 35/10kV.
In 2012, the output of dry-type transformer in China was 186.0719 million kVA, which is one of the countries with the largest production and sales of dry-type transformer in the world. Dry-type transformers are now widely used in power stations, factories, hospitals and almost all electrical. With the popularization and application of SC(B)9 series with low noise (distribution transformer noise below 2500kVA has been controlled within 50dB) and energy saving (no-load loss reduced by 25%), the performance index and manufacturing technology of dry-type transformer in China have reached the world advanced level.
